Race Passes 400!

As of this morning, we have surpassed the 400 mark for the race and we are well on our way to having a great inaugural half marathon with the Renaissance at Colony Park Half Marathon!

Barnes & Noble Drawing

Barnes & Noble will give away $500 in gift cards to some lucky marathoners. Ten - $50 gift cards will be given away at the prize drawing ceremony after the race!

New Way to Connect Before the Race...

We've set up a new website for the race that will allow runners and walkers in the Renaissance at Colony Park Half Marathon to connect before and after the race. You can set up a free account and blog, post pictures, post videos and get to know those that are training.

Hey Kids.... Learning Express Toys!

Learning Express Toys is now a race sponsor for the Gattitown Kid's Fun Run. In addition to a t-shirt, a medal and a $5 gift card to Gattitown....

Each kid will receive a $5 gift card to Learning Express Toys! If you haven't been in Learning Express Toys, you have to go. It is in the Renaissance across from Sweet Peppers Deli.

WLBT has joined the Renaissance at Colony Park Half Marathon as a race sponsor. We are excited about WLBT's participation and look forward to their help in getting the word out on the race.

Brooks & Fleet Feet

Brooks Running

Brooks and Fleet Feet will be providing great swag for prize drawings at the post-race. Twenty pairs of shoes and more Brooks running swag will be given away to lucky runners and walkers at the Renaissance at Colony Park Half Marathon.

Fleet Feet will also have a booth at the Renaissance on Friday before the race to get those last minute things for the race.

Registration for the Gattitown Kid's One Mile Fun Run is now available online. Just follow the link to the online registration and have your child, ages 5-13, register for the race.

Fleet Feet - For All Your Race Day (and Training) Needs!

Once again, Fleet Feet Sports comes through and will be a major addition for the Renaissance at Colony Park Half Marathon. From the start of Marathon Makeover, Fleet Feet has been there to support our runners and walkers with the best the sport has to offer. Thanks Lesley and the gang at Fleet Feet, for all the help!

A Taste of Mint!

Mint Restaurant will provide the pre-race pasta meal for all the carb loading Friday night. The cost of the meal will be $15 and will include a fantastic dining experience for all race participants and their family and friends.

Marathon Makeover and the race participants will be the FIRST to dine at Mint. Restaurant owner, Patrick Kelly, says he "is excited to introduce Mint to the public at such an exciting event." Mint will open about four weeks after the race but they will be there to feed the racers. Dining will be outside in the "Eurocurve" and under tents set up at the Renaissance.
